About the role

  • Location: Hybrid – a mix of home-working and time in our London (Borough) office
  • Contract type: Full-time, permanent
  • Salary: £44,000 per annum
  • Reports to: Head of Programmes and Strategic Partnerships
  • Closing Date: Monday 26th February 2024

This role is a key post in the Amref UK restricted income team. You will play an integral part in our strategy to increase the proportion of restricted income and the reach of UK funded programmes through the management of projects and partnerships - ensuring timely delivery, effective monitoring, and excellent stewardship of the accounts.

As Programmes & Partnerships Manager, you will lead on programme management, new business development, and provide line management to two team members. You will be responsible for providing overall quality assurance and oversight for projects and grants/contracts within a specified portfolio and managing related risks. You will also be responsible for maximising opportunities for new business, including proposal development in support of Country Strategic Plans and donor partnership strategies.
