There are plenty of ways to support Amref Health Africa: find one that works for you.
Make a gift
You can make a one-off donation, or set up a regular gift, either via our website or by calling our team.
In memory
Making a donation in memory of someone close to you is a positive way of commemorating a life and supporting a cause they believed in. You can collect donations personally or set up an online donation page on Just Giving. Thank you for thinking of us.
In celebration
Make a special occasion, like a birthday, anniversary or wedding, even more memorable by asking for donations instead of gifts. It’s an inspiring way for family and friends to celebrate with you and to do something brilliant at the same time. You can do this really easily if you have a Facebook profile.
Payroll giving
Also known as ‘Give As You Earn’, or workplace giving, payroll giving means anyone who pays UK income tax can give regularly and in a tax-efficient way to their chosen charities. Many larger companies will offer this service, so talk to your employer and arrange to set up a gift to Amref.
Pledge Your Pay
Pledge Your Pay is a movement of people standing in Vaccine Solidarity with Africa by donating one day's salary. If you or your company would like to find out more, contact our Philanthropy Officer, Eilidh Naismith: eilidh.naismith@amrefuk.org
Online shopping
We’ve partnered with Give As You Live and Amazon Smile so you can raise money for Amref while shopping online, at no extra cost to you.
To use Give As You Live, sign up to create an account, and then browse the Give as you Live website for the store you want to shop with. Click 'shop now' to go through to their website and then you can shop as normal. All retailers will donate a percentage of your purchase price to Amref.
Customers who shop on Amazon Smile can choose for Amref to receive 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of eligible purchases as an Amazon donation. For those who might be a bit forgetful (like us!), you can install this browser extension, which automatically redirects you to Amazon Smile in case you forget to type it in.
Leave a legacy
When you leave a legacy to Amref Health Africa UK, you will help ensure the right to health for communities across the continent. Your gift will help mothers give birth safely, children stay free from disease, and empower young people to know their rights and reach their potential.
Your will is designed to ensure that your wishes are met when the time comes. After you have taken care of your loved ones, will you make sure communities in Africa have access to the healthcare they need? It's hard to think of a better investment you could make in Africa's future.
