Mbele Movement

Mbele means ‘forward’ in Swahili. And that is what our dedicated members of the Mbele Movement help us to do: move forward, together.

Mbele Movement members are some of Amref UK’s most dedicated supporters, inspired by seeing our work in person and connected to our mission through active engagement with our leadership.

What are the benefits of being a member?

In return for their important commitment, Mbele members receive exclusive benefits such as:

  • A dedicated Amref UK relationship manager
  • Invitations to events and webinars with Amref leadership
  • Chances to connect with other Amref supporters through events and exclusive updates on our work
  • Opportunities to see Amref’s work in Africa in person

What do Mbele Movement members provide?

Mbele members commit to a minimum annual donation of £3,000 for three years.

This commitment is for funding that is entirely unrestricted; a critical support for Amref Health Africa to allocate funds to where we know the need is most urgent.
